We partner with the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation to sponsor the Youth Conservation Camp held every summer at Candle Lake, Sask. This summer camp hosts kids from across the province to give them a chance to enjoy nature, educate them about animals and the environment, and make lasting friendships in a positive environment.
Developed to offer young people the opportunity to learn and experience in the great outdoors, the SWF Conservation Camp has been an ongoing success for over 30 years.
At camp, boys and girls aged 12-15 are given hands-on learning in a wide range of outdoor activities including:
Archery, canoeing, air rifle shooting, trapping, wildlife identification, plant identification, survival skills, camp cooking, fisheries studies, map & compass, GPS use and so much more.
Please note that campers must be sponsored by an SWF branch.
